Life after death is the great Christian hope. That life will be so glorious for all evil will be removed and we shall live eternally in the presence of God.

Now we know in part

Life is so full,
with so much to do,
its easy to forget,
that Jesus is alive,
and offers ev'ry one eternal life.

Death is like sleep,
and we will awake,
to never die again,
a journey to that place,
not made with hands,
eternal in the heav'ns.

Jesus went,
to prepare rooms,
in his Father's house, He told us so,
and there will welcome his family,
from ev'ry part of earth.

All will be new,
all sin will be gone!
And all who now believe,
will know the life of God,
eternal life of God for ever more.

Christ will return,
he's coming for you,
to take you home with him,
but God alone knows when,
so patiently wait
for that day and hour.

We too shall rise,
as Jesus did rise,
he overcame death's pow'r,
this well attested fact,
confirmed by those
who saw the risen Lord.

We'll be changed,
a new body,
fashioned like our risen Lord's body,
imperishable and glorious,
a spiritual body.

To be with Christ,
that by far exceeds,
the best that life gives now!
His Spirit now within,
is God's own pledge
our future's safe with him.
