'Be Still,' He says

"Be still," He says, "and know I am your God,
take time to think about My love for you
let rush and stress go from out of your mind
that you and I may walk this day in step."
"Be still," He says, "and know I am your God
then you will know My love, My care and peace." (repeat)

Be still my mind and know God is my God.
Let thought of Him not soon be pushed away.
Remember well He promised to be near me.
So keep in step, enjoy His blessedness.
Be still my mind and know God is my God
so shall I walk in light and love and joy. (repeat)

"Be still," He says, then he will greater be
to me, and so to you. Think much on Him
and find Him far beyond all human thought
but not beyond your faith and love and hope.
And so He will surround all of my life.
"Be Still," He says, "and know that I am God." (repeat)
