'I am,' Jesus Said

"I am," is God's name,
Jesus said, "I am,"
the One who ever is,
and shall always be,
has ever been,
the eternal present great "I am."

I'm the bread of Life,
who came down from heav'n,
to those who now believe,
I will satisfy,
the deepest need,
and the yearnings of the human heart.

I'm the way, the truth, and Life:
the way to God;
the truth revealing God;
life eternal gives.

I am for this world,
light to show the way,
and all who follow me,
they shall never walk,
in the darkness,
but shall have my light to guide their path.
