God is Love

God is love: let heaven adore him,
God is love: let earth rejoice;
Let creation, sing before Him,
and exalt him with one voice.

He who laid the earth's foundation,
He who spread the heavens above,
he who breathes through all creation,
He is eternal love.

God is love: and when we wander,
he gently restores our way,
God's eternal loving kindness,
enfolds, upholds in life's pain.

God is love: and when life's over,
he welcomes us to his home,
there forever, as his family
know his eternal Love.
